Tax Package Passes Key Test Vote
The new tax bill that the President proposed last week, which has been met with heavy resistance by House Democrats (despite Obama’s support), passed a key test-vote in the Senate on Monday. The results of the test vote lead many to expect the bill to pass in the Senate on Tuesday or Wednesday, which would send it over to the House for the final vote.
