Irrational's Ken Levine and his BioShock Infinite team won't be shipping their game for quite a while yet, but they offered a look at its earliest design processes in their PAX East panel today. The turn of the 20th Century and the idea of "American exceptionalism" are the core concepts that have defined the look and direction of Infinite -- but even with such a strong, distinctive focus, Irrational's process hasn't been without its troubles.
