Blog Post: What every IT manager should know about IE9: webcast 2 May

This webcast is being run out of the US – time is 10.00am Pacific (which I think makes it 5pm UK BST). You can Register now and you’ll get the opportunity to ask questions.

Here’s the description:

I’m sure by now you’re aware that Microsoft recently released a new version of the world’s most popular browser: Internet Explorer 9.  And like all new versions of the products your IT organisation supports, you need to fully understand the impact of any changes before you commit to making the switch.   That’s why we’re fortunate to have Chris Jackson on this IT Manager Community Chat.  You may know Chris as Microsoft’s “App-Compat Guy”.  He is a Principal Consultant and the Technical Lead of the Windows Application Experience SWAT Team, and is a widely recognised expert in the field of Windows Application Compatibility.

As always, these chats are an opportunity for YOU to ask questions of our guests, so if you have questions about IE 9 and compatibility, please join us LIVE and get your questions answered.

Presenters: Kevin Remde, Sr. IT Pro Evangelist, Microsoft Corporation and Chris Jackson, Principal Consultant and the Technical Lead of the Windows Application Experience SWAT Team, Microsoft Corporation

Chris Jackson is a widely recognised expert in the field of Windows Application Compatibility, creating the technical documentation, training, and service offerings used inside and outside of Microsoft based on years of real-world experience with enterprise customers and independent software ven
