Activision is set to reveal its next Spider-Man game at the annual WonderCon convention on April 2.
A listing for a Spider-Man panel scheduled for next Saturday afternoon promises a retrospective of Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions with the game's developer, Beenox. Following that, attendees will "be the first to check out exclusive details, screenshots, and videos of the next Spider-Man game." In addition to Beenox staff, Spider-Man 2099 co-creator Peter David and Josh Keaton, the voice of Spider-Man in The Spectacular Spider-Man and one of several Spidey voice actors in Shattered Dimensions, will both be in attendance.
Without actually announcing a new game, the possibility was strongly hinted at when Beenox was put in control of the series following its success with Shattered Dimensions. Prior to that, Activision had stated that a new Spider-Man game was planned for 2011 along with new X-Men and Transformers games.
