Retro City Rampage Delayed, Now Coming to XBLA

Retro City Rampage creator Brian Provinciano annnounced today that his project won't be out on WiiWare for another year yet; but the good news is that the homage will be available via Xbox Live Arcade as well (via Destructoid)

Originally slated for release this month, the XBLA version will now be launching in the summer. It will include widescreen support, a challenge mode, character creator mode and video replays.

Provinciano said the reason for decision was that "in order to continue making these games and not have to start flipping burgers after Retro City Rampage is done, it needed to be multi-platform."
